DENNIS HESSELBARTH   URBAN/CROSS-CULTURAL MINISTRY

Dennis was the founding pastor of Hilltop Urban Church in Wichita, Kansas, a multi-ethnic oral-culture church, where he pastored for 26 years. Hilltop's strengths include developing indigenous leaders from the culture of poverty and nurturing house churches where life transformation is the norm.

Under Dennis's leadership, Hilltop planted a Hispanic church that shared Hilltop's building for several years before moving to their own location.  That church has now planted a second Hispanic church that is sharing Hilltop's building.

Dennis has served on denominational agencies for urban and cross-cultural ministries. He joined the Living Stones team in 2009.

He and his wife Joy live in the Seattle area.
