CHURCH HEALTH CONSULTATION

YOUR INVESTMENT

To get maximum benefit from this process, you will need to make several investments.

>>  Study. Your pastors, staff ministry leaders, and board members will need to prepare for the consultation by reading the ministry and staffing sections of The More-with-Less Church.  This will give you a basic understanding of the ministry principles that guide our work. Depending on the issues your church is facing, we may ask your staff or other leaders to read another book directly related to a key issue you are facing.

>>  Research. As part of the consultation, your church will complete an in-depth self-study that will involve many members of the congregation.

>>  Prayer. We find that when church leaders have saturated the consultation process with prayer, God has a much freer hand to work in that church.

>>  Finances. When we work with you, we become, in effect, adjunct staff for the duration of the consulting/coaching. We are the outside equippers who come alongside your local equippers–-pastors and teachers–-to better equip you to carry out your mission.

>>  Implementation. This is your greatest investment. The best plan in the world is of no value unless it is implemented. Part of your church's commitment in scheduling a consultation is to form a Church Health Team to lead the implementation of the ministry recommendations. We will provide you with guidance for forming this team.

Fees
>>  Church Health Assessment: The fee for a two-day Church Health Assessment visit is $2950 plus travel reimbursement (mileage, air fare, parking and tolls, lodging, meals, and, if applicable, rental car expense) for two consultants. If you have completed an NCD survey and Detailed Analysis within the six months prior to the Assessment Visit, you can submit those results to your consulting team and $325 will be deducted from the cost of the visit leaving the net cost at $2625 plus travel.

>>  Church Health Consultation: The fee for the 10 to 14-month Church Health Consultation process ranges between approximately $10,000 and $30,000 plus travel, depending on the size of your church, the length of your launch visit, travel time, and the number and length of coaching visits.
